Terms of Service
These terms cover using GoldenProtect, the app and the website at golden-protect.com. Last updated October 2026. GoldenProtect is operated by RedPacific, LLC.
- GoldenProtect is a simple, locked-down home screen for a computer used by an older family member. The person who sets it up (the guardian) is responsible for choosing which sites and apps appear and for the guardian password.
- You may install GoldenProtect only on computers you own or are authorised to manage, and only with the knowledge of the person who will use the computer.
- One license covers the number of computers shown in your dashboard. Do not share your license key with people outside your family.
- GoldenProtect reduces the chance of stray pop-ups and unapproved sites, but it is not a guarantee against every scam or harmful website. It does not replace antivirus software or looking after your parent.
- The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for GoldenProtect in the last 12 months.
- We may update these terms and the app. If a change matters to you, we will say so on this page.
Billing and refund terms
30-day money-back guarantee. Cancel anytime.
- GoldenProtect is a paid subscription. There is no free trial and no free month; payment is taken when you subscribe, through Stripe.
- If GoldenProtect is not right for you, ask for a full money-back refund within 30 days of your first payment. Use the contact page and include the email you subscribed with.
- You can cancel at any time: sign in, open your dashboard and choose Manage billing, where you can also change your card. Your license stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- A fully refunded payment cancels the subscription and turns off the license.
Your payment is taken by Stripe on behalf of RedPacific, LLC, the company that operates GoldenProtect, so that is the name to look for on your card statement. Open your dashboard
